This 15 month Executive PGDM has been designed to equip corporate professionals with concepts, skills and techniques essential to make them more effective leaders and change agents in their organizations, whether in the private or public sectors. The thrust of the learning experience is to train you to compete and succeed using leadership skills, strategic thinking and in-depth functional knowledge. The programme shortens the learning curve of prospective General Managers and Vice Presidents through exposure to strategic issues in management over a wide front.

The programme is aimed to sharpen your skills with intensive learning in each of the functional areas of business management and to develop you as a confident, well-informed manager.

The programme challenges you with fresh ideas, and it enables you to add clarity and depth to your perspective by exchanging ideas and thoughts and comparing notes on business practices with your peers as well as members of faculty and visting resource persons. It also enables you to build a wide network of contacts from the diverse sectors of business and industry.

During this programme you will learn to think like General Managers and most importantly, you will practice the skills of questioning, listening, integrating, and communicating. You will have the opportunity to experiment with new approaches and to discuss your own professional challenges with your colleagues and faculty facilitators.

What does the XIME Executive PGDM offer?

Programme structure

1. Participants will have to take 18 core courses and 6 electives in their areas of specialization spanning a period of four semesters and an industrial attachment in the fifth semester.
   
   
2. Continuous assessment will be done through case studies, assignments, periodic tests, seminars etc.
   
   
3. Communication skills (oral and written) will be introduced as a separate course to enhance existing skills.
   
   
4. Guest lectures by eminent professionals on various specializations will be arranged.
   
   
5. An internship in the industry, as well as an international visit will be organized as part of the course.
